[Capdist-auditions] Performers Still Needed for INHERIT THE WIND

[Rising Phoenix Productions]

Rising Phoenix Productions is still looking for people whomay be interested in performing in their production of INHERIT THE WIND.


 
Principal roles still available include:


 
- Bertram T. Cates (M, 20’s) – The defendant in the trial; a quiet,modest, science teacher who has been arrested for teaching evolution to hissophomore science class.

- E.K. Hornbeck (M or F, 20’s-50’s) – The cynical newspapercolumnist for the Baltimore Herald,who is sent to Hillsboro to cover Cates’ trial. 

- Rev. Jeremiah Brown (M, 40’s-60’s) – A fundamentalist preacher,who, as the spiritual leader of Hillsboro, zealously believes in the literalinterpretation of the Bible, and is cruel and controlling.


 
There are other smaller townsperson roles available, bothspeaking and non-speaking.  


 
Rehearsals are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from6PM-9PM in Hudson Falls.  Scheduling isvery flexible.  The production will runJuly 17 & 18 at the South Glens Falls Fraternal Order of Eagles.
