Non-Equity male actor in his mid to late 30s needed for THE KILLING and THE
LOVE DEATH, two recently re-discovered one-act plays by William Inge, to be
produced by Kaliyuga Arts at Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill, NY and
directed by John Sowle. Casting: Huey (in THE KILLING), attractive in a
blue-collar way (a "rough trade" look), a working man, a veteran of WWII,
down on his luck and The Superintendent (in THE LOVE DEATH), an angry
offstage voice. Rehearsals begin August 4. Show plays Friday & Saturday
evenings at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm August 14 – 23. Local would be
best, but housing is available during rehearsals/run if desired and you
live out of the area. Stipend. Great opportunity to get in on the ground
floor of an up-and-coming theater in the Hudson Valley. If interested,
please send a headshot and resume to casting at BridgeSt.org. For more
information regarding the production company & the theater itself, visit
www.kaliyuga.com and/or BridgeSt.org.
