[Capdist-auditions] Mary Poppins!

Attention residents of Milton, Malta, the Town of Ballston, and Village of Ballston Spa:

The BARC Youth Theatre will be performing the musical MARY POPPINS this summer. Students entering grades 4 through 12 in September of 2015 and 2015 high school graduates are welcome.

The show will be directed by Michael Gatzendorfer who is well known for his directing of numerous SLOC shows.

Registration can be done online by going to ballstonarearec.org and then creating an account with the Online Sports program. The name is deceiving since it is not only involved in sports.

All rehearsals are in the evening and only two nights a week while school is in session. However, if you are not in a scene you do not need to be there. When school is out, rehearsals are Monday through Thursday, but again, only if you are in the scene being rehearsed.

You will have to go to the BARC building at 61 Eastern Avenue in Ballston Spa to pick up all audition materials on either Saturday, March 28 from 10 to noon OR Monday, March 30 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Auditions will be held on April 21 and 23. Check the website for specific details of e-mail barc_rec at verizon.net.
