The Not So Common Players are conducting an additional round of auditions for the roles of "Monty" and "Flick" to complete the outstanding cast already in place for their upcoming production of the musical "Violet."  These are both lead roles that require excellent vocals.  We are seeking one Caucasian and one African-American male, both in their 20s - early 30s.  


Regular rehearsals will be three times per week beginning August 10.  The shows are October 16 - 18 and 22-25.

FLICK - Male, 20-30 yrs old 
An African-American soldier; a dreamer and go-getter. He doesn’t enjoy the army, but enjoys the respect it garners him. There is something gentle, good about him, not to be interpreted or confused with weakness or lack of authority.

MONTY - Male, 20-30 yrs old 
A paratrooper and Flick’s friend from basic training. Rough around the edges. Self-consumed, but not necessarily purposefully so. Fighting his own demons.
