*Voice lessons for serious singers, both youth and adults*: Fee Based

The studio of Corine Salon now has a few openings for serious singers 
who are at any level of development and are truly interested in learning 
how to sing, perform, and become well-rounded musicians. In my studio I 
teach a good technique for voice placement, developing a resonant 
singing tone, body awareness and breathe control which can be applied to 
all sorts and styles of music. My voice students have appeared on 
Broadway, with Saratoga Opera, Glimmerglass Opera and other professional 
companies and won many local contests and leading roles in musical 
productions. Many of my students have also gone on to college and 
graduate school to earn a degree in music and now have their own careers 
as professional musicians. I have included a very brief resume of my 
professional background.

Ms. Salon has a MFA in Voice from Carnegie-Mellon University and has 
studied with many fine teachers and coach/conductors in NYC from the 
Metropolitan Opera and in Europe.Her own performances experiences 
include touring with Jazz bands, Equity summer stock, leading roles in 
operas, singing concerts here and in Europe, and many guest artist 
appearances with orchestras including the Albany and Schenectady 
Symphonies. She has also done three shows with the Capital Repertory 
Theater in Albany.

She has been an adjunct professor of voice at St Rose, Siena College and 
currently at Union College and is teaching privately in her home.She is 
also a string player and has been conducting choirs with orchestra for 
First Reform and Union Presbyterian Church in Schenectady.Ms. Salon has 
been a member of AEA, AGMA, AGVA and is currently the Vice President of 
the local chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
