Bah, Humbug!


The Galway Players Youth Theatre will be holding auditions for their fall
musical production of “Bah, Humbug!,” based on A Christmas
Carol.  Auditions will take place this Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 1:00pm
at the Galway High School auditorium, 5317 Sacandaga Rd. Galway,
NY.  Performances will take place at 7pm on November 21st and 2pm on November
22nd.
The production will include 20 (principal) roles and an unlimited
chorus – children
in grades 3-12 are welcome to audition.  Please see below for a summary of
primary roles and suggested ages for casting:


Ebenezer Scrooge – a mean and miserly man – boy grade 9-12
Fran – Scrooge’s niece – girl grade 6-12
Beth Cratchit – Scrooge’s employee – girl grade 9-12
Tiny Tim – Beth’s son – boy grade 3-6
Belinda – Beth’s daughter – girl grade 5-8
Peter – Beth’s oldest son – boy grade 6-12
Martha – Beth’s oldest daughter – girl grade 6-12
Mary – Beth’s daughter – girl grade 3-8
Josie Marley – Ebenezer’s deceased business partner – girl grade 6-12
Spirit of Christmas Past – girl or boy grade 6-12
Spirit of Christmas Present – girl or boy grade 6-12
Spirit of Christmas Future – girl or boy grade 6-12

Any interested student in grades 3-12 will be eligible for a number of
supporting roles, dancers and chorus.
