 The Voice Studio of Jacqui Marsh-Kraus, located in Niskayuna, NY has
openings at varied times of the day for singers aged 9 to adult, all levels
of experience. Students from all school districts are welcome!

Jacqui Marsh-Kraus is a classically trained, college educated, performer
and voice teacher. Jacqui has been teaching voice and performing in and out
of the Capital District for over 20 years.  Her students learn classical
techniques in breathing, placement, ear training, phonetics, diction and
performance techniques. These components give students the ability to
relax, increase vocal range, input emotion and perform all genres of music
to their highest potential.

With a strong influence on breath support, each student is taught the
physical aspects of singing so they have a complete understanding of how
the vocal chords and lungs work. This understanding opens the doorway to
how the body works when you sing and leads the student directly into the
world diaphragmatic breathing. Breath is not only a staple of life, but for
a singer, it is the glue from which all sound is created!  80% of our
singing voice is breath!

Whether you are someone with aspirations to: prepare and perform for
NYSSMA, prepare for auditions, sing professionally, sing with a choir,
perform at karaoke, or just want to sound good in the shower...be the best
singer you can be!

Jacqui Marsh-Kraus is a member of NATS and NYSSMA.  All lessons are
private, hourly and students pay for 4 lessons at a time.
