[Capdist-auditions] Open Call for FEATURE FILM 9/18 & 19 in Troy, NY

Casting Director Richard Hicks (‘Gravity’, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, & more) is
holding an open call for the Feature Film WEIGHTLESS on Friday, September
18th and Saturday, September 19th in Troy, NY.

‘Weightless’ will shoot in the Upstate New York area in October / November
of 2015 & is being produced by Greg Shapiro (ACADEMY AWARD® winner 'for
'Hurt Locker') and Patrick Milling Smith and Brian Carmody (Tony Award® winners
for 'Once: The Musical').

The film stars Alessandra Nivola (‘Face/Off’, ‘American Hustle’, ‘Selma’)
with other cast to be announced.  It’s a beautiful story about a father
(Nivola) who has to start taking care of his son when the mother disappears
one day. Father and son learn how to be a family (of two) again.

One of the leading roles is a very hard to find: We are looking for a boy,
8 -12 years old, who weighs 150 - 300+ lbs.
