Home Made Theater Holds Open Auditions for MIRACLE ON 34th STREET

 

Home Made Theater announces open auditions for their December production of
Miracle on 34th Street, adapted by Mountain Community Theater from the novel
by Valentine Davies, based upon the Twentieth Century Fox motion picture
Miracle on 34th Street, directed by Laurie Larson. Auditions will be held on
Sunday, October 18th and Monday, October 19th from 6:00-7:30pm at the Spa
Little Theater in Saratoga Spa State Park. There are 20+ roles available for
actors ages 7 through adult.

Sometimes we all need a reminder of how wonderful it is to believe! Just
when a weary world needs it most, a white-whiskered, kindly old man calling
himself Kris Kringle appears to remind a little girl and her skeptical
mother that the holidays are still a magical time of humor, generosity, and
faith in the goodness of others. The play captures the true spirit and joy
of Christmas. The message reminds us that miracles can come true if you can
believe. Be a part of this uplifting yuletide classic!

Actors should bring a current photo and resume. Photos cannot be returned.
Actors may be asked to use a Bronx or Brooklyn accent.

Production dates are weekends, Dec. 11-20, with two weekday morning
performances on Dec 15th and 17th at 10am. Rehearsals will begin October
26th. No appointments are necessary for the audition. Actors will read from
