AUDITIONS: "Christmastime in the City 2":
 
Town Players of Pittsfield will be holding auditions for “Christmastime in the City 2”, a holiday variety show directed by Monica Bliss with accompanist, Jeff Hunt. Auditions will be at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Avenue, Pittsfield on Tuesday, October 6th and Wednesday October 7th at 7:30 pm. Those unable to attend on the 6th or 7th may make an appointment by emailing the director (monicabliss at aol.com).
 
Needed are singers (all voice types), instrumentalists, spoken word artists, actors, comedians, dancers, knife-throwers, and more. Any variety of talent may audition. 

Singers should be prepared to sing from their favorite holiday tune. They may bring their own music but it is not required. Spoken word artists must bring their own work and will be given 1 to 2 minutes for the audition but up to 3 for the performance. Actors may bring a monologue but sides will be provided otherwise. Finally, instrumentalists should be prepared to play a 2 minute holiday selection for the audition.

There will be three performances: Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12 at 8:00pm and a matinee on Sunday, December 13 at 2:00pm.  This show is back by popular demand - selling out its entire run last year!
