> THE MAC-HAYDN MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP

> Applications are now being accepted for The Mac-Haydn Musical Theatre Workshop and CCYT’s Funshop. Classes begin July 5th and meet Mondays through Thursdays on the Chatham Fairgrounds with some rehearsals held at the Mac-Haydn Theatre. The historic and park-like setting of the fairgrounds is the perfect atmosphere for working on a show. Performances are at the fairgrounds as well as the Mac-Haydn Theatre. The experience is fun and totally professional. Participants are divided into classes based on age and level of experience.

> Funshop is an individualized program for children ages six through eight. Participants enjoy activities such as acting, singing, dancing and theater games. The program concludes with a musical performance, which features parts specifically written for each young actor.
> 
> Enrollment Fee: $400.00  -  July 5 to July 21 -- 9:00am to 1:00pm
> 
> 
> The Musical Theater Workshop serves young people ages nine and up and features musicals such as the Jungle Book, Guys and Dolls and the Little Mermaid. Resident directors, choreographers, costumers and vocal instructors work together to determine how best to tap your young actor’s talents. Students are guided through the rehearsal process and work closely with their company members as they learn the ins and outs of mounting a professional musical.

> Enrollment Fee: $500.00

> Class # 1
> Ages 9 – 12 (age-range approximate)
> July 5 to July 28 -- 9:00am to 1:45pm
> 
> Classes #2 & #3
> Ages 11 and Up (age-range approximate)
> July 5 to August 6  -- 9:00am to 2:00pm.
> There will be one Friday rehearsal on July 29, from 9:00am to 2:00pm
> 
> Please Note: Class 3 is an Audition Only Class with Extended Performances at the Mac-Haydn Theatre.
