NYC Actor to Teach HMT's Summer Programs for Children, Teens & Adults


 

Home Made Theater is pleased to announce their 18th summer of programming
for students ages 8 through adult. All classes will be taught by returning
instructor NYC actor/director Paul Sigrist. HMT's summer classes are an
excellent opportunity for students of all ages to use their creativity and
talents during summer vacation, while building their self-esteem and
confidence in a nurturing and supportive environment.  

Instructor Paul Sigrist is a professional singing actor and director who
works in theater, film and television.  He has performed with many New York
companies including 19 seasons with The New York Gilbert and Sullivan
Players.  From 2005-2011 he was the stage director for student productions
for Opera Saratoga. He has appeared on television in Saturday Night Live,
Smash, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Law and Order: SVU, 30 Rock, Blue
Bloods, Damages, Gossip Girl and many others. Paul's film credits include
The Big Short, The Music Never Stopped, Baby Mama, Synecdoche, College Road
Trip, Julie and Julia, The Switch, Wall Street 2, New Year's Eve, Imogene,
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Very Good Girls, and What Maisie Knew. Paul
is a proud member of Actors Equity Association (AEA) and the newly-merged
Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Artists
(SAG-AFTRA).

Space is available in all classes: Improvisation, Shakespeare for Young
Actors: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Scenes from Great Musicals, and Directing
101. All classes are limited to 15 students per class. Registrations will be
accepted in the order in which they are received and payment is due at the
