Please prepare 16-32 bars of a broadway showtune for your audition. No
accapella singing! An accompanist will be provided but you must provide
your own sheet music in the appropriate key.



Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday from
7-10 and Sunday 2-5. Please come with a complete list of conflicts to
auditions. You need to be available for all Tech week rehearsals (March
11-16).



Below is a break down of the characters in the cast, please note that the
age ranges are only guidelines and not requirements. If you have any

*CHARACTER BREAKDOWN*

*Harry Witherspoon*

A shy, sweet-natured, and insecure shoe salesman from England. He feels
incapable of taking risks and tries to change that all with a very special
trip. Age: 25 to 35



*Annabel Glick*

A no-nonsense representative of the Universal Dog Home of Brooklyn. She is
a proactive citizen with an attentive and aggressive personality, and
becomes the unexpected love interest of Harry Witherspoon. Age: 25 to 35



*Rita La Porta*

Vinnie's high-strung sister with poor eyesight. Impulsive, erratic, and
very insecure. Age: 35 to 45



*Vinnie Diruzzio*

Rita's mild-mannered brother who is dragged into her mess. He is an
optometrist with predictably conservative tendencies. Age: 35 to 40



*Luigi Gaudi*

Luigi is a mysterious, boisterous Italian. Age: 40 to 50



*Dominique du Monaco*

Dominique is a sultry French accented, nightclub singer in Monte Carlo.
Age: 30 to 40


*Ensemble* many roles with dialogue and doubling of characters.
