Saratoga Children's Theatre Spring Auditions and Workshops Michael Kayne

Fee: $20

Improv Fundamentals:
Through scenework and a series of exercises, students will be introduced to
the building blocks of longform improvisation.  We will work on agreement,
commitment, listening and more, leaving students with the foundation to
confidently explore further study and performance in improv and in comedy
in general.
About the Teacher:

Michael Kayne is a writer, producer, director, and performer with credits
that include the New York Comedy Festival, SXSW, @midnight, Billy on the
Street, The Chris Gethard Show, and more.  As an improviser, he is a member
of Baby Wants Candy, Sabonis (three-time winner of the Upright Citizens
Brigade’s (UCB) 3×3 tournament), What I Did For Love (Time Out New York
Critic’s pick), and has performed with improvisers from shows like SNL, The
Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and 30 Rock, to name a few. Michael
has performed with Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, David Cross, Aidy Bryant,
Jason Mantzoukas and more.

Shrek Jr the Musical Auditions

*AUDITION INFORMATION- Sunday, March 6th beginning at 2pm last sign in
at 5:30pm at the Saratoga Senior Center*

Seeking 7 – 14 year olds. Bring 16 bars of Broadway standard song (no CD’s
or a cappella singing allowed)

There is a $225 production fee if you are cast.

Three performances will be presented at the Saratoga Music Hall:

*Friday May 6 at 7:00 pm*
*Saturday May 7 at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm*

Seeking 10 – 18 year olds. Bring 16 bars of Broadway standard song (no CD’s
or a cappella singing allowed), and a one minute monologue required for
auditions.

There is a $250 production fee if you are cast.

Three performances will be presented at the Saratoga Music Hall:

*Friday May 13 at 7:00 pm*
*Saturday May 14 at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm*
