LA VITA NUOVA PRESENTS is pleased to announce its 2016 media project,
being a feature-length film shot within the Capital District, entitled
"Moon of the Mahatma Dons". 

This is a non-dialogue (silent) film,
taking place immediately after World War One. 
The Jules Verne style story will
include some animation, some 'hand-colored' effects 
and have a full symphonic score. All the first leads
have been cast.

Pre-production begins in mid-March - production throughout the rest of 2016.

First and second tier actors will receive an 'artist's stipend' 
paid fully advance ($1500-to-$500)prior to actual shooting. 
Scenes are shot in 'blocks', actors paid according
to the length and quantity of their scenes.

We are seeking the following, with a strong visual presence:

Herr Henrik Von Eltz: German spy/ 35-40, matinee idol type, Teutonic look.
Bea Knox: intriguer/ 20-35, kewpie doll type.
Monseigneur Morris/head of Saint Theodora's Church/ 50-60, jolly well-meaning priest. 
 
Atmosphere players will be cast in May.
