*AUDITIONS JUDGEMENT AT NUREMBERG AUGUST 9 AND 10*


Classic Theater Guild is proud to announce auditions for its production of
the powerful drama *Judgement at Nuremberg*, directed by Glenn Read.  This
important play is a 2001 adaptation by Abby Mann of the 1961 motion
picture, also written by Abby Mann.  The play depicts the events around a
military tribunal before which four German judges and prosecutors stand
accused of crimes against humanity for their involvement in atrocities
committed under the Nazi regime. Issues at the forefront of this trial
reverberate through history and challenge us to this day.  What is justice?
What is humanity?  What have we learned?

There are adult roles for up to 15 men and 4 women.  Actors are asked to
deliver a short monologue.  There will also be readings from script.

Production dates will be November  3 - 6 and 9 - 13.
