Consortium Actors announces auditions for The Addams Family Musical 
Open Call for Actors in College, Alumni or Older High school
Performances: June 24th & June 25th at 8pm, June 26th at 2pm &7pm


THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents. 


Auditions:
Sign-in begins at 8:45am and ends at 11:30am

Sat March 19th -Siena College Beaudoin Theater
9am-12pm - Vocal and Dance auditions

Sun March 20th -Siena College Foy 107
1pm-2pm- Auditions for anyone with 3/19 conflicts
5-8pm Callbacks Addams Family

What to Prepare:
Please prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show you are auditioning for- bring sheet music in the correct key for piano. An accompanist will be provided. No acapella singing. 
Be prepared to dance- a short combination will be taught.


Rehearsal Schedule:
Anticipated Rehl schedule  
	5/1-5/29 -Sundays 6-9pm and Wed 6-9pm 
	6/6-10th 6-9pm  
Planned Rehls: June 13-18th and June 20-24th 10am-6pm, Siena College
(flexibility for actors’ college work schedules and high school finals/graduation will be factored in )
Tuition for High School students : $250. All Actors expected to secure 3 advertisers for the program- or may opt out for additional $100 fee. 
Actors should prepare a 16-32 bar cut of an appropriate musical theatre song. Bring sheet music in your key; an accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to dance; all students auditioning will be taught a short dance combination.
