Rehearsals will begin after 3PM Tues-Friday and will take place 10-6PM Saturdays and Sundays.
Performances:  Tues-Thurs, 7:30PM, Fri/Sat 8PM, Sat 3PM and Sun. 2PM.

Synopsis:  This lyrical and touching play chronicles the journey of Mrs. Carrie Wicks, who decides to run away from her domineering daughter-in-law to her girlhood home in Bountiful, Texas. The play follows Carrie’s adventures on the bus to Bountiful and the people she meets.  Gentle, poetic and heartfelt, the play will feature 5 gospel songs sung by Carrie and a trio of actors who also play roles in the bus stations along the way.


SEEKING:
(1)  male – 20’s-40’s – African American, blue collar worker who is tired of dealing with the bus travelers, versatile singer, confident with singing gospel harmony.
(1)  female – 20s-40s – African American, blue collar worker, does double duty in the bus station as a cleaner and ticket taker, versatile singer, confident with singing gospel harmony.

REQUIREMENTS:  bring a 1-minute contemporary, memorized monologue of your choice and a gospel song to sing (no accompaniment) along with your headshot and resume stapled together.
Actors receive a $150/week allotment during rehearsal and performance weeks.
