Colonial Little Theatre calls for entries
For 2016 New Play Festival

JOHNSTOWN – Colonial Little Theatre calls for entries for its 2016 New Play Festival of staged readings Oct. 21 and 22.

Aspiring playwrights of the greater Capital Region are eligible to submit scripts of their original works. Short plays (30 minutes or less) will be considered. The submissions deadline is May 1.

Plays which have had previous productions or readings will be considered.

More than one play can be submitted.

Director(s) and technical help also are needed.

Believing new plays to be the lifeblood of theatre, Theatre Workshop was organized in 2006 to develop new plays for production as staged readings at Colonial Little Theatre, and to raise money for the theatre’s capital fund. This is our 10th season.
