Capital Repertory Theatre is seeking several musicians for the band featured in A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN.  Players need to love rock and roll and be familiar with Joplin’s work.  The band appears on stage.

Seeking:
(1) electric bass
(1) trumpet
(1) trombone
(1) keyboard (Hammond - theatre has)
(1) sax

Dates:
Starts rehearsal:  June 28 (times TBA)
Previews:  July 8, 9, 10
Press opening night:  July 12
Runs through: Aug. 7
Performances:  Tuesdays-Sundays - Tues/Thurs 7:30PM, Fri/Sat 8PM, Sat 3PM, Sun 2PM, Wed matinees 2PM:  July 20, 27 Aug 3
Day off:  Mondays (during rehearsal and run
Call time:  30 minutes prior to curtain

Requirements:
Players must appear to be 20s-mid 30s.  The band will be costumed by Capital Rep.
Seeking players for the whole gig who will not need subs.

Fee:  $800/wk - 8-show week
