[Saratoga Children's Theatre]

ONLY 9 SPOTS LEFT!! The 24 Hour Project
A group of actors, writers, directors, costumers, props masters, set
designers come together to create a one act musical or play in 24 hours.

Fee $80 LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE

For Grades 9-12 — We highly encourage students interested in all aspects of
theatre to attend the Project!

The students will be staying overnight at the Saratoga Senior Center with 24
 hour adult supervision. Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.



The project will begin at 5:00pm on Sunday, January 15th and will be
performed Monday, January 16th (Martin Luther King Day). During the course
of the 24 hours students will be collaborating in a small group to create a
new work. Upon arrival the students will pull names out of a hat to broken
up into two groups where they will create two different shows. They will be
guided by Leigh Berenis and Ruth Pouliot who will not be involved in the
creative process. The costumer, props master and set designer for both
shows will make a storage unit trip with either Ruth or Leigh to gather the
materials necessary for their show. Students should feel free to bring
their own instruments if they would like to share with their group.



Performance is open to family, friends and the public. It will take place
at 6:00pm Monday, January 16th at the Saratoga Senior Center (5 Williams
Street). Admission will be $2 at the door. Feel free to bring your own
video camera. There will be no flash photography during the performances.

*Everyone should bring lots of deodorant and a sleeping bag or cot if they
would like. They will sleep in shifts or all together depending on what the
group decides.*
