Consortium Actors is delighted to announce open auditions on Tuesday, October 11th for Actors aged 9 through College for A Christmas Carol, a new unpublished adaptation presented by special arrangement with playwright Peter Bloedel. 

Join us as we bring to life the Crachit family and Christmas Past, Present and Future as they lead the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey of transformation and redemption to discover the true meaning of Christmas.

A dramatic comedic play, this is a large cast mixed age show with many men, women, children and cameo roles.

Auditions For all ages:
Tuesday October 11th from 5-8pm at C-R School 9 Laura Drive, Cohoes, NY
(Please note this is a rescheduled time due to Director conflict- there are no auditions on Saturday Oct 8th)

Performances- Dec 8-11th Fri/Sat show at 7pm, Sun Matinee at 2pm

Auditions for A Christmas Carol will entail cold readings from the script. Sides will be provided. Actors should be familiar in advance with the script and characters. Please be prepared to stay through the scheduled audition time and read multiple roles, if requested.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:
* Tues/Thurs 3:45-6:30 10/13-11/29 and
* Fridays 1-4pm 11/4-11/25 (not all actors will be called for every rehl)
* Last two weeks: All Actors/Crew called for daily afternoon Rehls: 11/28-12/2 3:30-6:30 and mandatory Tech week: 12/3 9am-4pm, 12/5-12/8evenings 5-10:30pm

Please Note- There are specific cameo roles which will be rehearsing on select Wed/Friday evenings only from 6-9pm from 11/4-11/25 for actors and the above schedule from 12/3-12/8 for actors who cannot make afternoon rehls! With numerous cameo roles and flexible staging, don't hesitate to audition if you are interested- just be sure to list your schedule conflicts!
