Mopco Improv Theatre Opens Registration: Adult & Youth Classes
As part of Mopco’s overall expansion in downtown Schenectady, we are offering a new lineup of classes in improvisational theater for adults and youth. Register now for September and October.

Expanded Classes!
We revamped our class offerings for a deeper dive into the wide, wide river of improv. Keep a look out for special topics, workshops, and happy hour social gatherings. http://www.mopco.org/classes <http://www.mopco.org/classes>.

101 - 1-night intro. Class dates: 9/12, 9/26, 10/1, 11/3. 7:00-9:30 pm. $25.
102 - 4-week intro. Series start dates: 10/10, 11/7. 7:00-9:30 pm. $75-100.
Fundamentals of Improv - A rotating cycle of 4-week series, each focusing on a particular aspect of improv performance: Character (starts 9/7), Environment (starts 10/5), Narrative (starts 11/2) and Scenework (starts 12/7). Take in any order. $75-100.
Performance/Long Form - Advanced improv techniques. 4-week series with performance starts 10/5. $100.
Musical Improv - Learn to make up songs on the spot. 4-week series with performance starts 11/7. $100.
Improv for Everyone - For non-performers, personal development. 1-night on 10/20 and 11/17. $25.

New for Youth!

Youth Improv at Mopco, ages 10 - 17. 5-week series with performance starts 10/2. $150.

Youth Improv at the Schenectady JCC, ages 5-10. 5-week series with performance starts 10/5. $125.
