School of the Performing Arts at Proctors

Position: Drama/Theatre Teacher of Imagine That! Summer Program

Reports to: Education Program Manager

Job Description:

Primary objective is to be the lead faculty member for Imagine That summer program as part of the School of the Performing Arts at Proctors. Faculty will:

each basic performing art techniques and help each student develop these tools as individuals and as a class.

nspire students to be creative and assist in creating an atmosphere of self- expression and self-esteem building.

reate an end of the week performance, showcasing the highlights of what the students learned throughout the week.

e responsible for supervising students at all times during the Program.

Requirements:

Drama faculty must be trained in the tools and techniques of theatre arts. Experience in teaching drama to 9 – 13 year olds in a high energy, creative, fun environment that fosters self-confidence in each child, is a must. Faculty must be an ambassador of the School of Performing Arts at Proctors and have a dedication to arts education.

Period of Employment: Monday July 24 - Friday July 28, 2017 Hours: 8:30am-5pm

Compensation Details: Based on experience.
