Seeking volunteers for a show this Thursday/Friday at EMPAC!

WHAT: Play an instrumental role in Andrew Schneider's Obie award-winning show, YOUARENOWHERE

WHEN: August 10 and August 11 (participate one or both dates)

WHERE: Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC), Troy, NY

We invite you to slide into the role of an accomplice audience member. You are the secret element on which the show rests. Access a unique, secret way of experiencing a multimedia performance that combines theater, technology, and visual art--and see a mind-bending show for free!

All you will need to do is attend a short orientation before the show, follow simple instructions, and be a part of a transformative performance experience. Take a close look at the inner workings of the show from behind-the-scenes, and become a spectator of a very particular kind.

This is an unpaid opportunity, but we will provide pizza dinner pre-show and a post-show party on stage with the cast! There will also be a free workshop for participants with the company at noon on Friday, August 11.

Bring your friends and family. No experience necessary.

Performer, writer, and interactive-electronics artist Andrew Schneider presents his Obie Award-winning show YOUARENOWHERE. This rapid-fire and witty theater performance cycles through expressions of laughter, surprise, and angst. Its dialogue traverses quantum mechanics and parallel universes, missed connections and YouTube videos in an existential meditation on time and presence.
