*Synopsis:*
ATR Prod*uction*s, LLC is proud to announce auditions for the musical
premiere of *Love in Firenze*, a delightfully romantic story of love and
laughter. Firenze! or Florence!, the Italian city of love, is the perfect
backdrop for this light-hearted musical adventure filled with beautiful
lasting romantic ballads and comedic songs about men and women. And yes –
there are even dancing Italian waiters!
Set in Florence and New York City in the 1980s, businessman Victor Romano
takes his family on an Italian vacation and instantly get caught up in the
allure of Italy. Victor becomes enamored with the beautiful opera singer
Lucia yet struggles in the ways of romance. Meanwhile, as Victor hesitates,
his father Antonio and his daughter Amy, seem to have no trouble adjusting
to the lure of Florence and "Amore" Italian style. Neither does Victor's
Italian smooth talking gigolo cousin Sergio, who falls for Lucia as well.
Through song and dance, Victor, Lucia and their families travel through
Florence and New York as they try to sort out this delightfully confusing
and comedic love triangle and somehow find love along the way.
