[Capdist-auditions] 24 Hour Project - Fee Required

*A group of actors, writers, directors, costumers, props masters, set
designers come together to create a one act musical or play in 24 hours.* Fee
$80 LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE For Grades 9 – Freshman in College who are home
on break! — We highly encourage students interested in all aspects of
theatre to attend the Project!

The students will be staying overnight at the Saratoga Senior Center with
24 hour adult supervision. Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.
Feel free to bring your favorite snack to share!



The project will begin at 4:00pm on Sunday, January 14th and will be
performed Monday, January 15th (Martin Luther King Day). During the course
of the 24 hours students will be collaborating in a small group to create a
new work. Upon arrival the students will pull names out of a hat to broken
up into two groups where they will create two different shows. They will be
guided by Leigh Berenis and other staff members who will be involved in the
creative process. The costumer, props master and set designer for both
shows will make a storage unit trip with a staff or board member to gather
the materials necessary for their show.
