[Capdist-auditions] Actor needed to play D.W. Griffith (no fee/no pay)

[Patrick White]

Actor (M 20-60) needed immediately to play D.W. Griffith in two separate 10
page plays by Brenda Kilianski.
Plays will be part of an evening showcasing Ms. Kilianski's work at the
Arts Center of the Capital Region as part of 2/24's
Troy Night Out celebration.
D.W. Griffith:  Southern gent, pioneer of modern film directing, serious,
doesn't always get - or appreciate-:the joke.

Rehearsals will take place during Acting Class with Patrick White's
sessions 2/11 and 2/18. Must be available 2/11, 2/18 mornings and early
afternoons and 2/24 evening. Please contact

Brenda Kilianski is a playwright and dramaturg who has just moved back home
to Albany after living the last two decades in Chicago. She is a founding
member of The Dead Writers Theatre Collective, a proud member of both the
Dramatists Guild of America and the Literary Managers & Dramaturgs of the
Americas, and her plays include Loos Ends, Battle of Anzio and Free
Radicals, the last of which was recently published by Chicago Dramaworks.
