POSITION: MUSIC DIRECTOR/ CONDUCTOR

STIPEND/ PAY SCALE: Per BARC Contract ($1500.00- 2000.00*) *Depending on
Experience

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors and or Masters Degree in
Music/Vocal Performance; Strong piano player and sight-reader; Experience
working with children ages 8-18, a preferred plus. Must have conducting and
orchestra management skills.

DESCRIPTION: Collaborate with the director for season fifteen on the
full-scale musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang serving at Music Director and
Conductor between 40 and 50 students ages 8-18. Be a part of the entire
process from auditions to conducting the orchestra pit during the live
performances. Music Director will be responsible for the teaching of the
music to all of the performers, while providing music tracks for students
to study. The Music Director will be in charge of hiring its orchestra pit.

DURATION: April through June one to two nights a week. July will be between
two to three nights a week. Orchestra rehearsals will be at the discretion
of the Music Director.

Show Performances: Friday, August 11 at 7 pm
Saturday, August 12 at 1 pm and 7 pm
Friday, August 18 at 7 pm
Saturday, August 19 at 1 pm and 7 pm
