HMT Winter Acting Class for Adults

 

Home Made Theater is pleased to announce their new Monologue & Scene Study
for Adults class, taught by actor/director Jonathan Hefter. The class is for
adults ages 18 and older, and meets Wednesdays, January 11, 18, 25 &
February 1, 8 from 6:30-9:00 PM.

Jonathan Hefter is a New York City-trained actor and director who got his
start at Home Made Theater in 1987's On Golden Pond. Since returning to
Saratoga in 2011, Jonathan has appeared in five HMT productions, joined the
Artistic Advisory Board, and directed HMT's February 2016 revival of
Tennessee Williams' classic Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Professional credits
include lead roles in the Off-Broadway productions of Found a Peanut, Day
One, and multiple runs with the NYC-based sketch group Next Monday, where he
also served as Producer and Co-Director. Television credits include
improvisation and sketch work on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Saturday
Night Live, Today, MTV's Boiling Points and Damage Control, and The Style
Network's Try My Life. Jonathan has performed stand-up, studied long-form
improvisation with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, and worked
extensively in dramatic scene study with The Roundabout Theater and in
independent studies.

Class size is limited. Registrations will be accepted in the order in which
they are received and payment is due at the time of registration. To
