TITLE: Production Stage Manager / Production Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Education Program Manager and Show Director

JOB SUMMARY:

The School of Performing Arts at Proctors is seeking an experienced stage manager for the summer of 2017 Broadway Camp MainStage production of PIPPIN. The Broadway Camp will be performed with a student orchestra and a cast and crew of over 40 high school students from throughout the Capital Region.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS & AVALBILITY:

Stage Manger must have experience with large full-scale musicals, multi-tasking and creating schedules, running rehearsals, cueing and calling performances. Must be able to work with students from ages 14-19 with a broad range of skill levels.

This is a five-week full-time commitment commencing on July 5th and ending August 8th (Camp is 7/10 to 8/5) with pre-production meetings as typically required for pre-production.

Must be available from 7/10 to 8/5, Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, as well as the shows on 8/4 and 8/5 (Friday at 7 pm, and Saturday at 2 pm and 7 pm).

STIPEND: $2500, $500 per week.

BENEFITS: There are no health benefits for this five-week project/position. No housing provided for out of town artist.
