  Schenectady LightOpera Company will hold auditions January 30 and 31, for its Springproduction of “How to Succeed InBusiness Without Really Trying.” This Tony-Award winning show has musicby  Frank Loesser and book by AbeBurrows, JackWeinstock,and Willie Gilbert, and is based on ShepherdMead's1952 book of the same name. The story concerns young,ambitious J. Pierrepont Finch, who, with the help of the book How toSucceed in Business Without Really Trying, rises from window washer tochairman of the board of the World Wide Wicket Company. Auditiondates:  January 30 & 31, sign in at 6:30 pm. Ages 16 and up,please.Callbacks (byinvitation only):  February 1 at 6:30 pm. Those auditioningshould prepare a memorized 32 bars from a Broadway musical appropriate for theshow. Please bring sheet music in your own key. An accompanist will be provided. There will also be adance audition, and a separate tap audition. Bring your tap shoes and show yourstuff! Performance Dates:  runs two weekends,May 5-7 and May 11-14, 2017.
