AUDITIONS For Richard O’Brien’s THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW

Capital District actors, singers, and dancers, please consider coming to auditions – this is going to be a major production in one of the largest stage houses in western Massachusetts, and very close to the NYS border. Carpools will also be organized so don't let the drive dissuade you.. Looking forward to seeing everyone from Pittsfield to Albany and beyond…

Who: Town Players of Pittsfield

What: The Rocky Horror Show – Book, Music, and Lyrics by Richard O’Brien

When: July 11th and 13th, 2017 At 7:00 PM

Where: The Boland Theatre, 1350 West Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201

Why: Because this will be the biggest Rocky Horror Show near Albany, NY in years… and… well it’s THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW… J

How: Those auditioning will be asked to have 1) prepared 16-32 bars of a song, preferably NOT from Rocky Horror (e.g., Pop & Rock selections as well as musical theater numbers)… 2) You will be asked to read a monologue [does not need to be memorized] (monologues will be made available if you do not have one with you)… 3) There will be a dance audition so please remember to wear or bring comfortable clothing with you… (Please Note: I know a lot of people get very nervous when they hear the words “dance audition”… do not worry as not every character has to dance and not every performer needs to be a dancer… we just want to see what you can do…)

Performances will be October 20-22, and 27-29, 2017
