ANNOUNCING AUDITIONS FOR UPSTAGE PRODUCTIONS' PRESENTATION OF MARY POPPINS

Upstage Productions will present Mary Poppins directed by Andrea Mastrianni with Musical Director Andrew Stein, in Hudson, NY November 17-19, 2017.

Those auditioning need to prepare 32 bars from a musical. Each person must bring either sheet music or an instrumental version of your song on MP3 or CD.  Accompanist will be provided. A Capella auditions will not be allowed. For dance portion of audition*, people are asked to dress comfortably or be prepared to change. Auditioners may be asked to stay and read sides from the show. Bring your best British accent if possible.  Both cockney and aristocratic British accents will be utilized in the show.

Auditions will take place in the Reformed Dutch Church at Claverack - 88 NY-9H, Claverack, NY 12513.  Sign in will be at 6:30, and auditions will begin at 7pm on Monday, July 17, and Tuesday, July 18 with callbacks (if needed) on Monday, July 24 at 7pm.

* Note: The dance portion of the audition should not discourage anyone from auditioning since some performers will not be required to dance.
