AUDITION for “Water Music” Project

Capital Repertory Theatre, 111 N. Pearl St., seeking:  (3) boys 10-15 (soprano/alto) and (3) girls 10-17 (soprano/alto) for the "Water Music" project with the Albany Symphony Orchestra.  This project features an original composition that combines music and narration celebrating the Erie Canal to be performed with full orchestra on the Schenectady site of the Canal. The children's choir will sing a prayer to family members who are far away working on the Canal.

Children must be confident singers who can read music and have experience with harmony. Singers must be available for all 3 rehearsals:  June 22 (time TBA), June 26 (time TBA) and one between 6/27-6/30. Final dress rehearsal:  July 3 (2 hrs between noon-4:30)
Performance: July 3, 8PM with full orchestra.

Each performer will receive $100 to cover transportation and meals.

To audition: Young singers will be asked to sing a song acappella.

Auditions will be held on Monday, June 19th, from 12noon to 1pm.
