Title: Summer Education Assistant

Assistant must be a highly knowledgeable ambassador for Proctors educational programs and have a dedication to Arts in Education in general. Candidate must possess excellent organization and communication skills, and understanding of marketing. Training and the ability to co-teach 6 – 19 year olds in theatre arts are a plus. Candidates with a combination of education and experience in theatre, theatre education and marketing are ideal.

Job Description:

Primary objective is to work with Education Program Managers to coordinate and implement the School of The Performing Arts, summer programs at Proctors.

  *   Revise and implement marketing plan.

•      Help to create contacts to market summer programs.

•      Organize welcome packets and letters for each student attending the School.

•      Help in organization of interns.

•      Setup a meet and greet day for summer faculty and interns.

•      Be present at master classes as assigned.

•      Assist and coordinate students during each master class.

•      Be comfortable working with and possibly co-teaching 7 – 19 year olds in theatre arts.

•      Help with evaluation of each summer program.

•      Additional duties as assigned.



Period of Employment: May 30 – August 16
Hours: May 30 – July 7: part-time, July 10 – August 16: 8:30am – 5pm, additional hours as needed.

Compensation Details: Based on experience.
