[Capdist-auditions] Opera Chorus Auditions

Hubbard Hall in Cambridge, NY is looking to cast an opera chorus (all voice
parts) for Donizetti’s *L’elisir d’amore*, to be produced in August 2017.
This first round of auditions will be held online and videos/video links
may be submitted via email by Wednesday, April 12.

Chorus rehearsals would begin the evenings of July 26 and 27 from 6-10 pm;
other rehearsal dates to be determined based on availability.  The opera
runs August 11th - 20th. Returning to the Hall are favorites Maria Sensi
Sellner as conductor and Andrew Nienaber to direct the production. We can
provide travel reimbursement to you for rehearsals and performances, at the
nonprofit mileage rate, up to $150. Local applicants only, please.

If interested in auditioning, please send headshot, performance resume, and
video or videolink to Kate Johnson at kate at hubbardhall.org with “Opera
Chorus Audition” as the subject. Your song should be in Italian, bel canto
is not required but preferred, and accompanied if at all possible.
