*Private Fears in Public Places* is a comedy-drama of six people who are
connected but alone. The play follows their trials and tribulations as they
try to find someone who will understand their complicated worlds.

*Nicola * Searching for a new home to start the next phase of her life,
while dealing with the complications of her upcoming marriage to Dan.

*Stewart *Nicola's Realtor. Has a unexpressed crush on his co-worker,
Charlotte. Competent in his job but meek and awkward in his personal life,
even somewhat with his sister.

*Dan *Nicola's fiance. Ex-Army. Had his life planned out, then it all fell
apart. Spends much of his time drinking at a hotel bar.

*Ambrose *Bartender. Lives with his invalid father. A quiet, reserved man,
who does not particularly want the burden of Dan's problems.

*Charlotte *Co-worker with Stewart and caregiver to Arthur. Appears to be
shy. Devout Christian who has her own sins.

*Imogen *Stewart's sister. Looking for companionship (with someone other
than Stewart). Considers herself boring.

*Arthur* (offstage voice) Ambrose's father. Confined to bed. Unpleasant and
ill-tempered.

Please come dressed for movement. No monologues will be needed, as the
audition will focus on scenes from the script. Performances February 9-11,
