*SEEKING TEEN PERFORMERS*

*for Saratoga’s 2018 MLK Celebration*



*Calling Teen Performance Artists* interested in lending their talent and
activist passion to several upcoming community events, with an initial
focus on *MLKSaratoga.org <http://www.mlksaratoga.org>’s Celebration
Weekend (Jan. 12th thru Jan. 15th, 2018). *  Past material has included
performance art adaptations, original spoken word, contemporary music, and
staged readings of the words of civil right leaders.   *(Our material and
rehearsal schedule will be based on this year's troupe.)*



*S**H**Y**F**T **(Saratoga's Humanitarian Youth for Transformation) *is a
troupe of high school and young adult actors, writers, musicians, and
dancers who have been working together since 2010 under Lezlie Dana’s
artistic direction and coaching.
