Our MissionThe Mission of Illuminate Theater is  to provide a platform for actors of color to perform where they may otherwise have little to no opportunities. Illuminate Theater aims to create a conversation with the community about the importance of diversifying theater in the Capital Region and beyond. 
Who we are looking for: Actors of color with the desire to perform theater that is important to them .
All  are welcome to audition  regardless of  experience.  
Must be over 18. 
What we are looking for: A  2 to 5 minute monologue  that either embodies or challenges popular stereotypes that have created a narrative for people of color in the media in the United States.  
Original Worked accepted 
Memorization encouraged.
