"CRIMWOOD"

SENIOR THESIS FILM

PURCHASE COLLEGE FILM CONSERVATORY

SYNOPSIS: A woman returns to her deceased father’s diner to destroy it and
exorcise the painful memories it holds for her.


ROLES

PRINCESS (ADULT): (mid-20s/early 30s) - LEAD - Princess is strong and
successful, but trapped in the past. Her destructive behavior and inability
to let go may lead to her downfall.

PRINCESS (TEEN): (16-24) - SUPPORTING - The younger Princess, seen in
flashbacks. Quiet and observant, she’s forced by her circumstances to grow
up too soon.

ARTHUR: (30s-60s) - SUPPORTING - Princess’s father. A good man struggling
to provide for his daughter, until the fight to keep his diner open becomes
an obsession that consumes his life.

POLICE OFFICER: (30s-60s) - SUPPORTING - A cop who harasses the young
Princess at work. Crude, gross, and in love with the power his badge
affords.

LAWYER: (30s-70s) - SUPPORTING - A lawyer who helps Princess after her
father’s death.

We will be filming in the Saratoga Springs area from December 17th to December
22nd.
