GOOD NIGHT LADIES

Opened Off-Broadway under “Ladies Night in a Turkish Bath”

The story of a PhD student hopelessly in love with a professor – who has a phobia of women!  Professor Matthews, aka “Spider” is the world’s topmost arachnologist. Spider’s not afraid of black widows, tarantulas, or anything with eight legs, but women scare him witless. Hilarity ensues as his friends decide to break him of his phobia and fill a Turkish bathhouse with absurdity and mayhem.

Casting- 13 Women, 4Men

GOOD NIGHT LADIES has a large number of female roles, including roles with less rehearsal time required. So don’t hesitate to audition if you have rehearsal conflicts- JUST PLEASE LIST THEM On your audition sheet.

If you need to provide a video audition, please email Casting at ConsortiumActors.com <mailto:Casting at ConsortiumActors.com> for the Video Audition Sides. Choose two characters to read for and submit a recording of yourself reading the scenes opposite another person who is off camera. The image and sound should be clear but the quality of the recording does not affect casting. Submit video to Casting at ConsortiumActors.com <mailto:Casting at ConsortiumActors.com> either by emailing the file or providing a link.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:

Farces require tight ensemble work, physical comedy and excellent comedic timing. This is developed in focused rehearsals with scene partners.  As such, Rehearsal Availability strongly affects casting decisions, please be detailed and straightforward. If there are any conflicts at all, including classes or lessons, with the above schedule you MUST LIST THEM them on your audition sheet.

The building is located next to the pizza place and labeled Signpro from the front. It is requested that we park in back of the building as parking is very limited, Therefore, please turn into the street behind Taco Bell from route 155 and drive past Taco bell (on your right), Keilens body shop will be on your left. Our new space is in the building directly to your right after you pass Kielen's body shop. Park in the parking lot on the right - right next to the building. There is a Consortium Actors magnetic sign on the door so you know which door to come in.
