*DETAILS: The year is 1991 and the UK has embraced acid house and rave
culture with gusto. The biggest musical revolution since the 60s is in full
swing, forever changing the UK’s youth and social culture. Tens of
thousands of hedonistic people travel en masse around the UK every weekend
to party in warehouses, forests, car parks, hangers, airstrips, and fields.
As the media sensationalised the dangers of acid house and raves, the
movement became a challenge to authority, leading to the UK Parliament
passing new laws aimed at curbing the revolution and the police
establishing a unit dedicated to stopping unlicensed parties. For one time
only, travel back with us to this heady period of the late 80s to mid 90s,
as we celebrate the dawn and development of a new rave world :P
