hys Thurston: Male 16-25 (plays 18) Toni’s youngest son. Born and raised in
Atlanta, GA. Just beginning to be aware of what people think about him,
charismatic but still awkward, shy,
​has
a slightly dark edge. Was doing well in school and was college bound but he
“got caught” dealing drugs in this school where his mother was the
principal. He is very protective of his
​
mother; a bit elusive, a bit cool. Ethnicity: Caucasian

Every estranged member of the Lafayette clan has descended upon the
crumbling Arkansas homestead to settle the accounts of the newly-dead
patriarch. As his three adult children sort through a lifetime of hoarded
mementos and junk, they collide over clutter, debt, and a contentious
family history. But after a disturbing discovery surfaces among their
father's possessions, the reunion takes a turn for the explosive,
unleashing a series of crackling surprises and confrontations.


The regional premiere of both "Appropriate" and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, an
Obie Award winner, Pulitzer Finalist and MacArthur Fellow for 2016.
