*Hubbard Hall Announces the Creation of New Paid Fellowships in Arts
Management, Production and Arts Education.*



*Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts and Education* announces, in
collaboration with Skidmore College, Bennington College, Cambridge Central
Schools, and the New York State Council on the Arts, the creation of new
Fellowships in Arts Management, Production and Arts Education.  Part-time
and full-time fellowships are available for current undergraduates and/or
recent college or high school graduates, starting in September 2018.



*Fellowships with Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts and Education*

*Hubbard Hall, *located in Cambridge, NY seeks highly intelligent,
hardworking and motivated emerging arts leaders and students to assist the
Executive & Artistic Director and Hubbard Hall staff and gain invaluable,
hands-on experience during semester- or year-long Fellowships.  *Fellowships
are available in the following areas: *Arts Administration, Arts Education,
Production, Marketing and Fundraising.  Topics may be combined or
overlapped depending on interest and organization needs.

*Purpose of Positions*

Fellows work closely with the Executive & Artistic Director and staff of
Hubbard Hall on multiple projects and initiatives, including all aspects of
planning, producing, marketing and resourcing a full season of theater,
opera, music and dance performances, workshops and classes.  Ideal
candidates will have some background in the arts and some administrative or
production experience, clear and concise writing and excellent
interpersonal communication skills.  This is an excellent opportunity for
candidates interested in learning the art of producing and administrating
from within one of the nation’s best and longest-running community-based
arts centers.


*Positions are paid *$13/hour for 10-40 hours per week, depending on
availability and interest.  Length of fellowship (6-12 months) can also be
determined based on the fellow’s interest.  Full-time fellows will also be
provided housing in Cambridge, NY if necessary.  Transportation is not
provided.

*Productions and Presentations – Theater, Music, Opera, Dance, and the
Visual Arts*

Since 1878 Hubbard Hall has developed, produced, and presented theater,
music, dance, and the visual arts and in recent years has become a
world-class development center for new work. Since 1977, Hubbard Hall’s
current nonprofit has engaged thousands of artists, students, and audience
members in acclaimed productions of theater, opera, music, and dance.
