Be a part of a local film that's on-track to make a big, international splash!

We are CASTING main, bit parts, and extra roles for the feature film - "Who Killed Hazel Drew?” - The Sand Lake Murder that Inspired Twin Peaks. A docudrama that will include authentic 1908 and 1960 reenactment senes. 

Due to its connection and recent return of the 90’s cult TV series Twin Peaks, The “Who Killed hazel Drew” project is already getting a lot of national and even worldwide attention! 

For those of you who know the series, Hazel Drew is the real life Laura Palmer!

This is an opportunity to work with a seasoned, award winning director, John Holser, his excellent crew and in some AMAZING locations. 

Main roles and bit parts are paid. This is not a SAG production. Shooting in August and September.

List of Roles
William Taylor - Male, 55 - 65 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking part 
This is Hazel’s cranky uncle and a main suspect for her killing. William is a farmer who’s lived a tough life and is mad at the world. 

Troy Business Man -  Male, 50 - 70 years old (1898 Scene) Very limited speaking part 
In the late 1800’s Troy was home to some of the country’s wealthiest and most powerful men.  

Carrie Weaver - Female, 18 - 20 years old (1908 Scene) Very limited speaking part 
One of Hazel Drew’s closest friends who didn’t know about her secret life. 

Mrs Carey - Female, 18 - 20 years old (1908 Scene) Very limited speaking part 
Hazel’s employer was surprised when Hazel quit and left the same morning. 

Grandmother - Female, 55 - 65 years old (1960 Scene) Very limited speaking part 
A sweet typical 1960 gray haired grandmother. Grandma fearing that her grandsons were in the woods to late tells them them the Hazel Drew Ghost Story. A cautionary tale about staying in the local woods late at night. 

Young Hazel Drew - Blond Girl - 10 -12 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking part 
Young Hazel Drew lives with her parents on her Uncle's farm. Hazel has farm chores, loves helping her mother with her siblings and visits Teal pond to get away when her uncle and father argue.  

Young Boy - 10 -12 years old  (1960 Scene) Very limited speaking part 
Young Boy - 8 -10 years old  (1960 Scene) Very limited speaking part 
Days on the lake and in the woods are never long enough for these two brothers. Instead of scolding them for being out to late their grandmother tells them a ghost story with hopes of getting them home on time. 

Two, Local Drunks - Male, 25 - 45 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking part 
Walking home after a night at the local tavern two drunks hear an awful moaning sound and crying coming from a patch of woods. Haunted, and scared to death, both take off running and later tell their neighbors of the story and tribute the moaning sounds to the murdered Hazel Drew searching for her killer. 

Two, Dapper Men - 25 -30 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking part 
Young fashionable men who’ve caught Hazel Drew’s eye and taken buggy rides with her. 

Chris Crape - Male, 35 - 50 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking part 
A Sand Lake tavern owner who claims to have seen two men and two women traveling late at night in an auto at a high rate of speed with no lights on. The auto later returned with only one woman.  

Four, Pond Boys - 13 - 15 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking part 
Walking home from a previous night of camping in the woods these boys discover a dead woman’s body in the pond, help pull her out and are questioned by the district attorney.  

Six, Sand Lake Residents  20 - 40 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking parts 
In 1908 Sand Lake is home to farmers, loggers, numerous hotels and summer camps. Detectives questioned numerous residents with hopes of finding someone who saw the now dead Hazel Drew. 

Six, Troy Residents  20 - 40 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking parts 
Residents of Troy and Watervliet were questioned by detectives with hope of retracing Hazel’s final movements. 

Two, Women  50 - 70 years old (1908 Scenes) Very limited speaking parts 
Mrs Green and Mrs Tupper were both questioned about Hazel’s character.
