Whitney Center for the Arts presents Fuddy Meers by David Lindsay-Abaire, a fully staged comedy directed by Patrick Toole. There will be six performances, evenings, July 7th-15th. Rehearsals begin May 22nd. 

Fuddy Meers is an American comedy by David Lindsay-Abaire. It tells the story of an amnesiac, Claire, who awakens each morning as a blank slate. Each day, her husband and teenage son must remind her of the facts of her life. One morning Claire is abducted by a strange man who claims her husband is trying to kill her. 

ROLES:

CLAIRE, female, age 30s or 40s
a generally sunny woman with amnesia

HEIDI, female, age 30s or 40s
a tough, foul-mouthed woman in a cop uniform

KENNY, male, age 17
a troubled teen who smokes weed and steals from his parents

RICHARD, male, age 30s or 40s
a chatty, friendly, sometimes nervous man

GERTIE, female, 60s
a clear-headed lady who's had a stroke and can't speak properly

*Actors will be paid a small stipend.
*Non-union.
