You will be learning a dance from *Elf The Musical *from the Associate
Director of the Elf National Tour, Michael Whitney! Fun workshop for all
dance levels!

When: Saturday, November 17th from 10:00am-10:45am

Where: Saratoga Senior Center     Fee: $25

Please be on time and ready to dance. Wear either close toed shoes
or danceshows. No bare feet. Make sure you have lots of water.

*Audition Workshop *

*Ages 13+*

*Limited Space Available*


When: Saturday, November 17th from
11:00am-2pm


Where: Saratoga Senior Center     Fee: $70


 This audition workshop will take you through a dance, vocal and/or
monologue audition. This workshop is for levels! Make sure you have
plenty of water and your songs/monologues memorized. You will also need
sheet music for the accompanist.




*This workshop is great opportunity to:- receive feedback from
professionals- practice auditioning (which is the hardest part of the
performing arts!)- strengthen your level confidence when walking into an
audition*



Michael Whitney is originally from Niskayuna, NY and currently resides in
Manhattan. A few of his previous credits include *Beauty And The
Beast* National
Tour (Dance Captain/ Swing/ U/S for Lefou/ Fight Captain/ Asst.
Director), *Beauty And The
Beast *International Tour (Asst. Director),*ELF* National Tour (Asst.
Director/ Fight Coordinator), *Peter And The Wall* (Director), and *Thoroughly
Modern Millie* (Choreographer). Michael also directed and choreographed
SCT's Teen Troupe Thoroughly Modern Millie show two summers ago!


Kevin Stevens is a NYC-based performer originating from Buffalo, NY. He is
a graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia, where he earned
a BFA in Acting. While at Fredonia, he was featured in multiple mainstage
and student-run productions. Upon graduation, Kevin moved to New York City,
signed with Avalon Artists Group and has been using theatre to travel
across the country and world, performing in California, Germany, Norway,
Russia and exotic Ohio. As of January 2018, Kevin is back in the city,
pounding the pavement and seeing as many drag shows as he can. Aside from
theatre, Kevin plays the clarinet, an instrument he has studied for eight
years, and is an aspiring gymnast. His latest goal has been mastering his
back handspring without breaking his neck.

 If you would like a 20 minute private coaching from either of these
instructors please email Leigh at leigh at saratogachildrenstheatre.org. They
will be offering coachings after the workshop for an additional fee.
