[Capdist-auditions] Casting (ages 18-65) for student film "Face Changes"

[Filmophrenia]

Lulu Films is looking for union/nonunion talent for the short film "Face
Changes". The film follows the relationship between Braim and Megan, which
is tested once Megan accidentally finds out that Braim can change his face
at will. While they spend time apart, Braim uses his ability to shoplift
and Megan grows increasingly nervous as to Braim's whereabouts.

The roles looking to be cast are-

Braim Rhoades (lead)- 18-27, a high school graduate who spends time with
his girlfriend of a year, Megan, a group of degenerate friends, and uses
his inexplicable face-changing ability to aid in shoplifting (what he calls
his ability's "only practical use"). He has tried to keep both his theft
and his strange ability a secret from everyone he knows, including Megan.
He has no family, little money, and is prone to jealousy, as well as a
contempt for the life he lives.

Megan Wells (lead)- 18-27, an introvered young woman who has recently
started a new job. She is a contemplative daydreamer who likes driving
around with Braim and the freedom she feels with him. However, the
revelation of his ability traumatizes her and she no longer wants to be
with him. While they spend time apart, Megan looks out for behavior similar
to Braim's, growing worried with the knowledge that he could appear to be
anywhere at any time.

Benji (day player)- 18-27, a longtime friend of Braim's and a coworker of
Megan's. He wants Braim to team up with him so they can steal together, and
believes himself to be incredibly skilled. He doesn't know about Braim's
ability but aids him in the keeping of his other secrets. He himself is
hiding firmly held feelings for Megan.

Police Officers (day player)- 30-65, two police officers who are dispatched
to the scene of one of Braim's robberies. They are faced with his
inexplicable ability and are confounded by it.

Please submit a headshot, resume and reel (if possible) to
cianan.allenmeyer at purchase.edu by December 15th to be considered for the
role. "Face Changes" will film from January 18th-21st in Schuylerville, New
York. Travel and food will be provided.
