Town Players of Pittsfield is holding auditions for its Christmas production!!
 
Town Players of Pittsfield announces auditions for a 4 show production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" to be directed by John Monteverde. Auditions will be held Friday, October 12 from 6pm - 8pm and Saturday, October 13 from 10am - 3pm at Berkshire Community College, Room K-111.
 
Being sought are actors and singers of all ages for roles in the show, as well as sign-ups for volunteers for stage and production crews.
 
Roles being cast include:
Adults 10 (6 women, 4 men)
Children 10 (5 boys and 5 girls)
Plus a large children’s choir
Angels - Girls ages 10 - 14
Shepherds - Boys ages 10 - 14
Baby Angels - All kids, 9 and under. 

"The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" is a delightful holiday comedy based on the book by Barbara Robinson. It tells the story of the Herdsmans, six delinquent children dubbed the "The Worst Kids in the History of the World". These kids go to church for the first time because of the lure of free donuts. Despite protests from other church members, they are given roles in the Church's annual Christmas play. What ensues will keep an audience of both children and adults laughing.
 
Rehearsals will begin on Monday, November 12 and the show dates are December 15, 16, 22 and 23.
The production will be in the Robert Boland Theater at BCC
